About INEX
INEX - Association for Voluntary Activities - is a non-governmental non-profit organisation founded in 1991 whose primary activities are in the area of international voluntary work. Our main objective is, through international voluntary work, enabling people to help where their help is most needed whilst at the same time making it beneficial for the volunteers in terms of obtaining new life and work experiences which they can use later in their careers.
Every year we enable to participate in long and short term projects abroad about 700 volunteers and we offer a programme for 400 foreign volunteers.
We organise the voluntary programs of development or environmental education, social integration, or rural development.
The Prague central office is, besides sending the volunteers abroad, specialised in the development education programs and campaigns (GLEN, Football for development, Eurizons). The Brno branch is focused on the social programs for children from disadvantaged family environments, other two branches in Kostelecké Horky and in Bílé Karpaty (Tvarožná lhota) are focused on the support of local activities, traditional habits and crafts and environmental education.
