Albania
Projekte Vullnetare Nderkombetare (PVN) is an organization that promotes peace through voluntary work and exchanges volunteers all over the world. It is part of the Service Civil International (SCI) network and shares the same aims and values. Besides the cooperation with SCI, PVN fulfils the aim of its foundation by organising social, ecological and cultural activities and involving everyone who wants the change and wants to be part of this change. PVN is working especially to solve the Albanian problems such as protecting the environment, integrate the migrated communities from rural areas, working with social disadvantaged people, and raise awareness towards youth in solving the problems of our community.
Argentina
Subir al Sur organizes workcamps and intercultural meetings in Argentina (as a hosting organization) in alliance with local projects, and send argentinian volunteers to the rest of the world (as a sending organization).
Aims
• To transform our ethnocentric and absolute visions on life by using the “journey in social service” as a pedagogical tool to promote the values of solidarity, peace and respect for cultural diversity.
• To use the voluntary service as our main strategy towards intercultural education as a base for a new culture of peace.
• To organize seminars and cultural events promoting Subir al Sur´s values together with local and international NGO´s and young argentine people (specially those with fewer opportunnities).
Armenia
HUJ - every summer HUJ organizes 6-7 international workcamps in Armenia, where Armenian volunteers hand in hand with 150 foreign volunteers do ecological and renovation work, take care of sick and disabled children, contribute to the aesthetic education of orphan and lonely children. HUJ implements its activities with the RA Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Health, Labor and Social Care and Ecology with the support of UN Development Program, UN World Food Program, UNWFP, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, UNICEF, OSCE- Yerevan office, AGBU-Armenia office, Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR)-Armenia office and embassies. HUJ cooperates also with other governmental bodies, funds and NGOs. At present HUJ organizes volunteer exchanges with 120 partner organizations abroad.
Australia
International Volunteers for Peace (IVP) is the Australian group of Service Civil International (SCI), a worldwide non-government organisation promoting peace and justice through voluntary work. We are also a member of the Network for Voluntary Development in Asia (NVDA).
IVP provides a gateway for Australians to volunteer overseas in over 1,000 different volunteering projects across the world. IVP also organises projects in Australia to assist worthwhile community needs and causes.
Austria
Grenzenlos - the German word „grenzenlos“ stands for „no boundaries“, also „no limits“. The word explains the basic mission of Grenzenlos: to promote the personal development of individuals (no limits!) and inter-cultural understanding through international working experiences (no boundaries!).

Azerbaijan
AYAFE - Association of Young Azerbaijani Friends of Europe is a youth NGO, established in November 1997, with the general aim of contributing to the integration of Azerbaijan into the European Institutions, promoting peace, tolerance and understanding. Organizing seminars, conferences, voluntary activities on different problems in Azerbaijan. AYAFE is a partner organization of the Service Civil International (SCI) in Azerbaijan.
Belarus
LYVS “League of youth voluntary service” 1994. LYVS is a non-governmental, non-profit organization. It is a member of the National Council of non-governmental youth organizations and associated member of the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organizations. LYVS is based on the principle of free membership. It assists young people in accomplishing initiatives based on volunteer work. LYVS cooperates with organizations in more than 20 countries, involving over 5,000 people.
New Group Belarus - SCI was one of the first organisations to divest itself of all political or religious affiliations in its work of promoting peace and understanding through practical action; it has also made a major contribution to the development of the main forms of voluntary work.
The voluntary work may be on long or short-term basis, and is designed to introduce volunteers to the range of problems, which face communities in the struggle for peace and social justice. The work aspect as much as the social contact with local people is a unique way of acquiring a deeper understanding for problems facing people in your own country and abroad.
Belgium
Compagnons Bâtisseurs is a non-profit organisation created in 1953. This association proposes different kinds of voluntary activities to youngsters : workcamps in Belgium and abroad (during week ends and during the summer), short, medium and long term voluntary services, leisure activities for and with disabled people. All our activities aim to help the young people to develop theirs habilities in order they integrate actively the society as responsible citizen. The realisation of these activities would not be posible without the participation of a network of 350 belgian volunteers, 100 volunteers from abroad during summer hollidays and team of four employees.

JAVVA (YAP) is an international movement which aims for societies of justice, peace and human solidarity. It struggles against the different forms of violence, exploit¬ation, injustice and exclusion; against networks of ideological, religious, sexist, political, cultural and economic oppres¬sion and imbalance of natural surroundings. It supports all those, women or men, who want to take their destiny into their own hands so as to organise collec¬tively a responsible and liberating society.

Bulgaria
CVS-Bulgaria (Cooperation for Voluntary Service - Bulgaria) was legally registered as an NGO on the 6th of June 2002. The organization has been active at national and international level since 1998 and it is part of the international voluntary service and peace organization - SCI (Service Civil International).
The aims and objectives of CVS-Bulgaria are to popularize the idea of voluntary work through organizing voluntary initiatives, to motivate young people to participate in voluntary actions, to promote and support international understanding and solidarity, social justice, and respect for the environment.
The Balkan Youth Club is a non-governmental organization established in 1998 with the main goal to encourage cooperation and facilitate the dialogue among youth in South-eastern Europe. Its head office is in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Objectives: Fostering of the intraregional and EU integration processes of South-Eastern Europe; Support in development of democratic, tolerant and pluralistic civil societies in Balkan countries; Enhancement of youth participation and exchange in all the areas of political, economic, social, cultural, academic and scientific life within the region;
To realize its aims the Balkan Youth Club relies on the young generation free of historical prejudice, which is going to shape the future of the region. Its team comprises of young professionals who are citizens of Balkan countries should overcome frontiers and together trough revealing their own and common potential to participate in the European integration process.
Burundi
Alliance Burundaise du Service Volontaire (ABSV) is a voluntary, non-profit making association founded in 2007, bringing together two existing voluntary associations govered together young Burundians keen to build a nation based on peace and love, leading to a better future based on sustainable development. Specific objectives of the Association are: To promote among the young a spirit of voluntarism and liberation as well as the idea of working together. To plan activities in the field of cultural heritage which emphasize peace and reconciliation. To activate development projects to benefit youth socially and economically. To aid the social cohesion of all the components of Burundian society. To inform people about revenue earning activities and to promote women through the education of girls. To support young handicapped people’s medical and social needs.
Canada
Chantiers jeunesse (CJ) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to the development of active and engaged young citizen, to support local development and to support the development of the entire potential of the persons. We offer learning and training opportunities in collaboration with partners from here and abroad, based on solidarity and respect of differences.
Croatia
Green Action is a leading non-governmental organization for environmental protection in Croatia. Its activist approach in solving environmental problems enables its staff and volunteers to effectively deal with challenging and often, serious issues. Green Action was founded in 1990 and its headquarters are in Zagreb, Croatia. A small team of professionals supports the work of numerous volunteers and activists, who cover a wide range of topics in their work. Green Action is active on local, national and global levels and promotes the protection of nature and the environment, while advocating for sustainable development in Croatian and other communities. It also focuses on activities that foster public participation in decision-making processes with the aim of improving the quality of life in Croatia.
Volunteers' Centre Zagreb (VCZ) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization founded in 1998. VCZ is an associate member of SCI. It is also member of SEEYN, WBSDI, Eastlinks, United and Croatian Youth Network.
VCZ is a contact and information service for Croatian and foreign volunteers and activists and an organizer of voluntary activities in Croatia. Aims of the organization are promoting human rights, peace and love, protection of environment, solidarity, interculturalism, civil society, stimulating individual development and strengthening youth initiatives through voluntary work and promoting the same.

Denmark
MS Danish Association for International Co-operation promote two types of stays in developing countries for persons who want to do a voluntary contribution for a shorter or longer period of time. That is international work camps and stays for Midterm Volunteers (MTVs). Most stays promoted by MS are arranged by locally based organisations that are partners of MS or have been partners in our development programme. MS have country offices in different countries in East Africa, Southern Africa, in Nepal and in Guatemala and Nicaragua. Wee have quite a few professional development workers placed with partner organisations in those countries. Still more of the voluntary work promoted by MS will be connected to the rest of MS’s development programme.
Estonia
International Youth Association EstYES is non-profit, non-political, non-governmental organization which was established in 1991 with the purpose to promote youth and cultural exchanges for better understanding and just world. It is a pioneer organization in the field of youth voluntary service in Estonia.
Our objectives are to increase international understanding and solidarity between countries and people; to promote continues dialogue between young people all over the world; to enable young people by living and working together to learn from each other, discover the variety of cultures, broaden horizons thus building bridges over differences; to promote international voluntary service in Estonia as a tool for local development; to help solution of actual problems in Estonia by means of international voluntary service.
Finland
Allianssi is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation independent of any political and denominational affiliation. Membership is open to all democratic nation-wide organisations dealing with youth issues.
Allianssi is an umbrella organisation for Finnish youth organisations; an interest organisation for Finnish youth and organisations; is a service organisation for those, who work with young people on the local or regional level and in youth organisations, and a service organisation directly for young people.
KVT is a peace organisation that aims to promote equality, social acceptance and respect for the environment. The full name of KVT, Kansainvälinen vapaaehtoistyö, literally translates as International Voluntary Service.
KVT's most important activity is organising international workcamps in Finland and sending volunteers to workcamps abroad. In addition, KVT coordinates long-term volunteering projects of 3-12 months. KVT is run by volunteers working in various working groups and local groups (currently in Turku, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Oulu and Helsinki).
France
Compagnons Bâtisseurs is an NGO which was founded about fifty years ago (1957). Its aim was to help a population that had been hard hit by the effects of World War II, to reconstruct those homes destroyed during the conflict. From the very beginning up until today, Compagnons Bâtisseurs has been putting the principle of solidarity into practice in the form of workcamps, as well as promoting peace and better understanding between people from all over the world.
Concordia was created in 1950 and is a well established non profit making NGO, committed to international voluntary service. It is a democratic organisation that encourages active involvement of its volunteers and members. The focus of Concordia’s work is on promoting international youth exchange through short-term international volunteer projects.
Jeunesse et Reconstruction (JR) is a non-political, non-denominational organisation whose main aim is to bring international people together to work for a common goal. This they have been doing for many years now by running international workcamps in France.
Solidarites Jeunesses (SJ) is the French branch of Youth Action for Peace (YAP), formerly known as Christian Movement for Peace. It is a non-governmental, non-profit making organization dedicated to fighting against social injustice and racism and to fight for peace and the protection of the environment.
UNAREC Etudes et Chantiers aims to develop the participation of volunteers in society and works closely alongside local authorities and people when organising International Volunteer Projects. Unarec develops since 1962 a non formal education project, international voluntary service as well as inclusion action based on work projects or workcamps!
Georgia
Tkibuli District Development Fund (TDDF) was established in 2006 with the support of the Czech non – governmental organization “People in Need”. TDDF is a local NGO working in Imereti region, Georgia. It has 3 employees and cooperates with local and foreign volunteers (It currently hosts 4 EVS volunteers).
TDDF focuses on raising the quality of education and skills of the young people and increase their live opportunities in Tkibuli district.
Germany

CFD- Youth Action for Peace Deutschland is a nation wide union of people who try to build bridges of understanding and to mitigate misery. The main request of Yap-cfd is to reduce national and cultural prejudices and animosity among people and to promote mutual tolerance. We started as early as 1923 as a circle of people engaged against the war. As a Non Profit Organisation acknowledged by the government as providing youth exchange and political education, Yap-cfd nowadays organises international work camps in Germany and places young people in work camps all over the world. These international meetings are supposed to help young people to get to know different cultures and social systems through first-hand experience so that they can reflect on their own cultural ideas and communicate with others about cultural norms and differences.
IBG is a German non-profit organisation founded in 1965. Our aims are to promote international understanding and to facilitate and organise voluntary work coordinating closely with our local partners.
IBG is a registered charity and does not have a political, religious or institutional affiliation. IBG receives funds from the European Union and from the German Ministry for Youth. We mainly organize work camps in Germany.
IJGD is a non-profit, non-denominational organisation which has been active in international youth work since 1948. Each year ijgd organises around 120 international youth workcamps in Germany. In cooperation with partner organisations a worldwide network has been created, so that volunteers can participate in workcamps all over the world. However, this programme will focus on workcamps in Germany. Our aim is to encourage young people to become aware of existing social and environmental conditions, enabling them to become an active and responsible participant in a democratic society. This learning process leads (among other things) to the examination of one's own cultural norms and values. Consequently it will help break down barriers between people which have been built on cultural, social and ethnical differences. This development of international understanding is regarded as a contribution to the furtherance of world peace.
NIG was founded in December 1990 by a group of enthusiastic students of the University of Rostock. It is a non-profit making organization, with its own director who chooses the camp-leaders and is responsible for the preparation of workcamps.
Our aim is to support important and urgent work in cases where local financial, material, and personal means are not sufficient. The workcamps deal with environmental and nature protection, construction and renovation work, archaeology, kids, cultural and art projects. There are also workcamps that aim to preserve of historical monuments and buildings. In these camps the volunteers work on Jewish graveyards and in former concentration camps, and thus gain a deeper insight into historical aspects.
Open Houses Network (OH) - the history of Open Houses Network dates back to mid-1980s. A group of young people started to restore churches in Eastern Germany in voluntary work to protect them from decay.
Our aims: To create and protect public places of common responsible work is one of the aims of Open Houses. The construction and the maintenance of buildings should primarily be understood as an approach to stimulate the contact between people and historical monuments and to facilitate meetings and learning.
Further, it is important for our association to allow the buildings to preserve their particular spirit, history and atmosphere, instead of confronting them with supposed needs of utilisation or of forcing a modern usage concept upon them.
pro international e.V. is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation and was founded in 1956 in Marburg (where our office is located as well), influenced by experiences during the Second World War. The main aim was and still is working for peace, bringing together young people from different nationalities in order to learn more about other social, cultural and political living conditions. We are offering workcamps (Short Term Projects) almost all over the year, mainly in summer. Our aims are encouraging and maintaining international contacts, understanding and co-operation; stimulating personal development, social and intercultural learning as well as global understanding of young people; promoting voluntary work and the idea of volunteering.
VJF (Vereinigung Junger Freiwilliger -Union of Young Volunteers) was founded in March 1990 as an independent, non-governmental workcamp organisation, obliged to the ideas of solidarity, humanism and mutual understanding among young people from all over the world. Common work and other activities should make young people think about such problems as the maintenance of peace, the preservation of the natural environment, solidarity with developing countries and the fight against old and new fascism, against racial hatred and all forms of discrimination; social, racial, sexual, political or religious.
Ghana
The Voluntary Workcamps Association of Ghana (VOLU) was founded in 1956 by a group of teachers and students, in order to enable young people to use their leisure time for the benefit of the wider community.
This service took the form of participation in workcamps for the realization of various community development schemes. Teams of young men and women crossed tribal boundaries to work in other areas to bring new life and ideas to remote places in rural Ghana with a view to unify the country and to develop it.
Greece
Citizens in Action (C.i.A.) is a non-profit, non-governmental, youth organisation based in Athens.
The aims of C.i.A are to support and promote the idea of active citizenship to the young people, through new forms of social commitment and participation, for a democratic and open society; to encourage the circulation of people and ideas through international exchanges, with the aim of the enhancement of knowledge, mutual understanding and peace; to contribute to community and local development through the participation of local and foreign volunteers in projects of benefit to all, with an emphasis on rural areas; to promote people's participation to defend and define their quality of life, aiming at the protection of the human dignity and the environment.
To achieve its aims, C.i.A invites its members to practical action, with emphasis on youth voluntary work, youth mobility and communication, international exchanges and non-formal education.
ELIX -Conservation Volunteers Greece is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization promoting, since 1987, voluntary service and education. The main goal of ELIX is the personal development of individuals as citizens of the world, through active participation. Environmental protection, cultural heritage conservation, culture promotion and social service are the main thematic fields of ELIX's voluntary projects.
ELIX aims in bringing together people from different cultural, social and ethnic backgrounds, willing to live, learn and work together as a team, through their participation in voluntary projects of enovironmental, cultural, social interest. ELIX projects promote intercultural exchanges and offer young people the opportunity to participate actively in the every day life of a hosting community.
Hong Kong
VolTra - was founded on 16 April 2009, VolTra is a non-governmental voluntary organization (NGO), which is dedicated to promote international voluntary services in Hong Kong through a well-established worldwide network of international workcamp organizations. The name, VolTra, already speaks for itself. It combines the power of "volunteerism" and the cultural exchange during "travel". Volunteerism can bring positive changes to the world in cultural, educational, environmental and social aspects as well as achieve community’s sustainable development. Intercultural exchange can broaden individuals’ horizons and thoughts to achieve personal growth and development. In this connection, VolTra targets to link Hong Kong people with the world through volunteering in order to promote world peace and global citizenship.

Iceland
SEEDS is an Icelandic non governmental, non for profit organisation with international scope.
SEE beyonD borderS, SEEDS, aims at promoting respect for cultural diversity, mutual understanding and environment protection through activities which empower, promote and aid people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds.
India
FSL-India is a non-profit organization, established in India in 2001 with the support of several well-known international organizations involved in the field of international volunteer services. FSL is promoting Global Understanding, Inter-cultural learning and aims to work for togetherness encouraged by World Peace through Youth Mobility.
SCI first came to India at the request of Dr. Rajendra Prasad a social worker who later became the First President of the Republic India, in 1934 when a team of European volunteers along with Pierre Cerosole undertook reconstruction work after the earthquake in Bihar. Since that time SCI India organizes many voluntary work camps and other actions with state branches/ groups in seminars to get people involved, trained, motivated and orientated in social action and voluntary work. It takes a lead in activities and issues related to forestry, environment, refugees, peace, communal harmony, disabled and womens' issues.
RUCHI or the Rural Centre for Human Interests is a non-political, non-profit making organization committed to development of rural India. RUCHI was created on the felt need to have a platform with a committed workforce to initiate the process of development at the grass roots level with people's participation.
Indonesia
Indonesia International Work Camp (IIWC) was formed in September 1999 when IPPA (Indonesia Parenthood Association of Central Java Branch) held the first work camp in Mijen Semarang ion co-operation with NICE (Never-ending International workCamp Exchange) Japan.

Dejavato Foundation was established in June 2005 as response to a lack of education and social welfare all over Indonesia. Following a prolonged economical crisis and severe governmental budgetary cuts in the field of education, its founders realized the importance of initiating private and community activities which could fill the gap left by the governmental sector, and decided to do so through the establishment of voluntary service activities, scholarship programmes and health care provision.
Ireland
Voluntary Service International (VSI) is the Irish branch of Service Civil International, a worldwide peace movement started in 1920 in the aftermath of the First World War. VSI was founded in 1965 after several projects in the late '50s. Since then VSI has undertaken a wide variety of voluntary and community work throughout Ireland and has sent thousands of volunteers to similar projects in over 50 countries worldwide.
Israel
GoEco Ltd. was established by Jonathan Gilben and Jonathan Tal in 2005. Both have traveled extensively, participated in and created international ecological projects. GoEco organizes the logistical aspects of each project in Israel, including living conditions, subsistence, security, work plan and leisure activities. GoEco ensures that each volunteer arrives prepared and ready to participate in a program that welcomes the volunteers’ help and assistance.
Italy
InformaGiovani was established in 2001 by a group of volunteers. Its aims are: foster and promote human and civil rights, with focus on right to information and participation; defending social and collective rights; promote local and international volunteering as tools for social inclusion and change. The association run activities of information, training and counseling, seminars on EU programmes, on social volunteering and international co-operation. The association focuses on activities of social inclusion and rehabilitation of young people who are or risk experiencing social exclusion. Since 2008 organizes youth exchanges and since 2009 international workcamps, involving about participants in local and international activities.
Lunaria is a non-profit, non-confessional and independent association, free from political parties’ control and influence. It was founded in 1992 and it carries out research, training, and communication activities on fair economy and third sector, migrations and globalisation. It promotes initiatives concerning international volunteering and youth policies. Through its activities Lunaria experiments new forms of active participation and social transformation inspired by the principles of justice and social solidarity, democratic participation to community life, guarantee of civil, social and human rights in the national and international context.
Legambiente is a leading environmental organisation in Italy formed by 20 regional committees and more than 2000 local groups. Legambiente runs national and international campaigns aimed at reducing traffic and air pollution, pesticides use, or proposing new energy policy, enhancing use of renewable sources, energy efficiency and conservation etc.
We have been organising a voluntary campaign for 16 years, promoting summer-camps in many protected areas both in Italy and abroad, with the aim of raising public awareness on environmental issues such as forest-fire or habitat degradation, collecting information on natural resources, promoting green tourism, developing sustainable economy, helping people to be active for the conservation of our natural and cultural heritage.
SCI Italy byla založena v roce 1948 a "ožila" v 70. letech, zaměřuje se na problematiku sociálního začleňování a lidských práv. Po mnoho let byla organizuje různé projekty v Palestině, např. projekt Medhebron.
Za dobu své existence přijala a vyslala mnoho dobrovolníků, kteří přispívají k šíření mezinárodní dobrovolníci v Itálii.
Youth Action for Peace (YAP) Italia has been present in Italy since the beginning of the Sixties. It was officially established as a national organisation in 1971, and has been a branch of YAP since 1973. Its first volunteers took part in workcamps after the great floods in Florence. Since then, Italian volunteers have been participating in international voluntary service projects around the world and have thus been in contact with the international structure of the organization.
Once known as MCP-Italia (Movimento Cristiano per la Pace), the NGO today organises international workcamps, seminars, study visits and training courses. These programmes educate young people about peace, dialogue and solidarity through projects of voluntary action and social and cultural development without any links to religion or a formal political party.
Japan
CIEE- The Council on International Educational Exchange, known as CIEE, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to helping people gain understanding, acquire knowledge, and develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world. In 1998, CIEE was officially recognized as a NGO in operational relations with UNESCO. Founded in 1947, CIEE has developed a wide variety of programs and services for students and teachers at secondary through university levels and related constituencies. Today, CIEE is one of the world’s leading operators of international exchange programs and related services, and operates in three broad business areas: Language and Cultural Programs, Work Exchange Programs, International Study Programs.
NICE was founded on 4th Feb. in 1990 by 7 youth who had participated in workcamps abroad. In Sep. 90, the first international workcamp in Japan was held at the foot of the Mt. Fuji. It has been developing rapidly and variously with huge needs of projects & motivations of people!
It aims to create/ develop/ revive ecological, self sufficient and warm-hearted civilization; to encourage activities of NGO/NPOs and activation of local communities; to promote global friendship, understanding and solidarity.
Jordan
International Cultural House is a registered non-profit non Governmental organization in Jordan. We organize International voluntary workcamps in the summer Vacation for young people from different cultural to live , learn , Converse ,celebrate ,enjoy and work together as an International Family in Jordan.
Kenya
Kenya Voluntary Development Association (KVDA) is an indigenously inspired non-making voluntary organization founded in 1962 and aims at making Kenyans and others aware of developmental problems, supplement formal education with experiential learning to enable those involved to be better members of the community, involve those at receiving end of development programmes in the decision making process, foster peace, understanding and respect of other people’s culture through living, communicating and working together. Our dedication is aimed at mobilizing all-purpose resources within and across international boarders to support community development initiatives in fighting against poverty.
Korea
The Korean National Commission for UNESCO promotes youth participation in society at the local, regional, and international levels. In this regard, youth activities of the Commission focus on encouraging young people to express themselves, as well as giving them the best possible chance to participate fully in social life.
IWO is a non-profit and non-governmental organization established in 1999 to promote world peace, global citizenship, youth and community development and cultural exchange through international volunteering. We believe that we can promote peace by contributing to mutual respect and capacity for peaceful coexistence between all countries. We offer youth of all countries the opportunities with international volunteer projects to understand cultural differences and diversity of each society. We believe that youth are our bright future in our planet.
Kyrgystan
Leadership is a non-profit organization bringing together young volunteers with the mission of involving youth in civil society through volunteerism, project design, and cooperation both locally and internationally. Leadership was founded on November 1, 2005 as a youth volunteer organization under the auspices of the public association Leader, a centre of civic society initiatives.
Lithuania
Deineta was established in 1988 as a union of several student clubs. Deineta is an independent non-political voluntary service organization fully responsible for its budget and structure. We organize international short term youth and teenager voluntary camps in Lithuania and also send volunteers abroad to our partners’ international projects. In 1988 DEINETA started a project “Youth for nature protection” and organized 2 first voluntary work camps. Year by year the quantity and quality of our work camps increased, and now during the summer season we organize more then 20 work camps, we send over 100 volunteers abroad and can host about 200 international volunteers in Lithuania.
Macedonia
Youth Cultural Center - Bitola (YCC- Bitola) is an independent, non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit youth organization. It was formed in 1997 named Youth Cultural Association (YCA) as non-formal group of enthusiasts, young people and young intellectuals, part of them as freelanced artists, musicians, actors, organizers and people with advanced ideas. The first steps in the development of YCA- Bitola were realized by organizing various cultural events (poetry evenings, concerts, alternative theatre performances and exhibitions).
Mexico
Nataté Voluntariado Internacional a.c. - Funded in 2006, Nataté, “La casa en el árbol” (The House on the Tree), in Tzotzil language, one of the living Mayan languages, is an independent civil association working in the promotion of international volunteering, solidarity and education for all, Non-profit, non-govermental and non religious. Objectives: Developing voluntary service, international solidarity, intercultural learning and peace; Promoting youth integral development and education; Promoting ecologic and sustainable life styles; Supporting and empowering marginalized groups of people and vulnerable minorities; Promoting the respect of human rights and human dignity.
Voluntarios Internacionales Mexico A.C (VIMEX) is a Mexican organization founded on December 4th, 1985. However it began to work in 1982.
Located in Mexico City VIMEX is an independent non-religious, non- governamental and non-profitable organization. It organizes International Workcamps in Mexico, it accepts incomming volunteers in its projects and at the same time it sends young Mexican high school and university students. VIMEX’s national program receives incomming volunteers and helps in the social needs of Mexican people by making voluntary action, so the foreign volunteers will know our culture, our customs and our daily realities. At the same time students can practice different languages other than Spanish and most important we hope volunteers change their attitudes for their own benefit and for the benefit of our country. Therefore, VIMEX encourages the exchange of different ways of thinking and being and it practices tolerance in living together with people from other countries.
Vive Mexico is a non profit-making, non-governmental organization that has been organizing International Volunteer Service Projects since 1996.
Vive Mexico was officially born in March 1997 as a non-profit, non-governmental organization recognized by the Mexican laws and authorities as volunteer organization. Our Philosophy consist of involving young people of different nationalities in projects focused in aid and cooperation with the objective to provide a space where the energy and creativity of them can be channeled in a background that promotes the brotherhood and solidarity between the nations of the world, and at the same time, help them to create a consciousness of the problems that are a human responsibility, by inviting them to take part in an activity to help our planet.
Moldova
The Association of International Volunteering (AVI – MD) was a group of initiative, created within the Dutch program of the Milieukontakt Oost – Europa organization (2000-2003) in Republic of Moldova. A few representatives, members of NGOs that activate in different fields (ecology, youth, culture) from several regions of the republic participated in the AVI-MD working group.
In February, 2004 AVI-MD was registered as a voluntary service organisation aiming to promote peace and tolerance, international volunteering, intercultural exchange, healthy way of life and human rights through voluntary activities.
Montenegro
ADP-ZID Volunteer center (VoC), within the Association for democratic prosperity – Zid, started working in May 2001. Volunteer center is a development project of the office for promotion and development of volunteerism in Montenegro and it started (what a coincidence) in the year of volunteerism. Although a very young offspring of ADP – Zid, VoC is a pretty healthy child, and you could say, pretty successful. We work, work, work and study, and we are proud of that…
Morocco
CJM - Chantiers Jeunesse Maroc was born and can be considered as a
continuation of the spirit of the "Road of Unity" "Chantiers Jeunesse Maroc",
since it was born participed in different important national projects such as
"DERRO" (Economical and rural development of the occidental Rif)
(1968-1969) , Haouz ,a project in which young farmers where taught new
agricultural techniques preparing for the change in the regime follarving the introduction of irragation , the school canteen operation , building of schools , canteen in rural primary schools and different campaigns against illeteracy.
Today , with a rich experience behind it , CJM is preparing itself to enter new fields of concern such as the preservation of the environment ,the preservation of the architectural heritage and social work in its varios faces.
CSM, Chantiers Sociaux Marocains, is a non profit NGO, founded in 1963. CSM is a national association, with several sections all around Morocco and a large international relation of cooperation. CSM is the Moroccan national committee of ICYE International Cultural Youth Exchange; it’s a member of several national, regional and international plat forms.
CSM aims to: To promote volunteer activities for young people in their spare time and holidays; To promote community development and encourage participation of community members in activities for their own benefit; To create opportunities to exchange experiences between youth from different parts of the country and the rest of the world; To promote international understanding through voluntary services; To enable young people to encounter and understand different cultures; To encourage the concept of voluntary services as a force in search for peace equality, democracy and international understanding.
JEC -Jeunesse at cooperation des chantiers internationaux is non governmental and non lucrative association founded in 1959 in accordance with 1998's law of public freedom allowing associations’ creation of volunteer work created by young volunteers’ initiative and willingness to contribute to the construction of a new deal based upon peace value, solidarity and fraternity among people. Since its creation, JEC has never given up encouraging the promotion of these values within young people. JEC aims at promoting the voluntary service by working on projects favourably benefiting to the local community especially to poor district. It is also an educational movement lucidly based upon the international exchange of young people within summer workcamps. It fosters youth’s expectation through an action attended by environmental safeguard and by making young volunteers aware of the importance of community work.
Nepal
Friendship Foundation Nepal (FFN) was established in 1991 with the intention to help in development process of Nepal through voluntary service, introduce Nepal to the outside world and to deeper co-operation. It has a number of objectives: to co-ordinate voluntary relief activities in disaster effected areas; to assist in development and construction programmes utilizing various voluntary services.
To organize various activities in order to minimize environmental imbalances and consequences of natural disasters; to extend the concept of friendship and cooperation among the Nepalese youth; to strengthen world peace and international friendship through voluntary service, to search and conserve cultural heritages, ancient civilizations and arts; to organize various Nepali cultural performances in Nepal and abroad.
Netherlands
SIW is a non-governmental, non-profit voluntary service organisation which was founded in 1953. Each year, SIW welcomes young international volun¬teers in its projects in the Netherlands, and gives Dutch volunteers the chance to partici¬pate in projects abroad. Each year also, the number of exchange partners increases, as well as the number of volunteers. SIW mainly exchanges volunteers with exchange partners in Wes¬tern and Eastern Europe, but also in North Ameri¬ca, Africa, and some South American and Asian coun¬tries. All SIW activities are organised by young Dutch volunteers, who find themselves supported by a small office, guaranteeing the continuity of the work.
Our Objectives: encouraging international contact and understanding; stimulating the personal growth and development of young people; doing social, cultural and environmental work.
VIA Netherlands is the Dutch branch of Service Civil International (SCI), an international peace organization that aims to achieve changes in society through work camps, in which people with different backgrounds and nationalities work together on a common aim. So not only words, but action too!I
Poland
FIYE Poland (Stowarzyszenie Promocji Wolontariatu) is a vibrant Polish non-governmental and non-profit organisation. Ever since it was established in 1989, FIYE has been active in the field of voluntary service and particularly committed to international youth exchange programmes. Throughout the years, FIYE has developed and successfully carried out a considerable number of volunteer projects with special regard to short-term summer projects – workcamps, and long-term programmes lasting 6-12 months.

One World Association (OWA) is a non-governmental organization, which carries the mission of promoting peace and mutual understanding by means of international and national voluntary programmes and education.
By "opening" one person for another we want to raise social awareness and by that create one world, without separating the better from the worse.
The Association was established in 1992, registered officially in District Court in Poznań in 1994. From the very beginning "One World" Association acts as a part of the international organization Service Civil International (SCI).
Romania
Youth Action for Peace – Romania (YAP-Ro) is a youth non-governmental organization, non-profit, having its headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, being a branch of Youth Action for Peace (YAP), an international youth organization with headquarters in Brussels. YAP-Ro was founded in 1992 by a group of youths (most of them studying at different universities in Cluj-Napoca) willing to involve themselves in the promotion of the ideals of understanding and toleration among people. It became associated member of YAP in February 1993 and it was admitted as a full member in February 1995. Until 2001, YAP-Ro functioned under the name “The Youth Movement for Peace”.
Russia
DiGe vu Samara is a young non-governmental organization. It was established on the initiative of active youth leaders. Its main activities include:
- promotion of international volunteerism in the Samara region by means of long-term, mid-term projects and work camps;- involvement of active young people into the social life of the Samara region by means of youth projects, such as AIDS prevention campaigns, etc.;- involvement of the disabled people into the life of society by means of the voluntary projects;- organization of cultural activities, festivals, workshops;- organization of thematic trainings and seminars for youth leaders.
Ecological Center Zapovedniks's (ECZ) main aim is to promote ideas of peace, humanism and respect for nature among young people all over the world through international volunteer activity.
International ecological camps, which we organize in Russian Protected Areas, - Natural Reserves and National Parks, are a very important part of our work.
We closely co-operate with all 143 Russian Federal Protected Areas to find interesting and fruitful work for volunteers to protect Russian nature.
Passage Zebra is a non-governmental non-profit -making youth organization. Its 10-year-long history includes volunteer work and support of youth social activities. It is deeply involved into international volunteer exchange (STV and LTV-EVS). Our regular activities are represented with international workcamps, youth leadership trainings, info-meetings, youth voluntary social projects and events throughout the year. Apart from cooperating with other Russian NGOs and we develop collaboration with educational institutions (institutes, universities, academies) as one of our main directions. Although mainly our projects are concentrated in Voronezh region we are able to carry out projects in different parts of the country.
Mir Tessen - Saint-Petersburg non-governmental non-profit youth organization was established in 1999. Supported by Committee of youth policy and relations with NGOs of Government of St Petersburg since 2003. Member of Regional Association of youth and children NGOs “The Roundtable of youth and children NGOs of St Petersburg”. Partner of Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations since 2005.
Sfera - Inter-regional youth social movement of support of voluntary initiatives has been created in 2006 on the initiative of youth voluntary organizations from different Russian regions. Firstly the organizations were united by Nizhny Novgorod Voluntary Srvice (NNVS). SFERA has a headquarter in Nizhniy Novgorod and representatives in 10 other Russian regions. The mission of the organization is to create equal opportunities for self-realisation and for satisfaction of social needs of all people through volunteering and charity.
World 4 U began to exist in 1997-1998, when the Moscow-based student and work and travel company Inter-R (www.interair.ru) in close friendship with the Voluntary Service of the Urals (VSU) started arranging summer workcamps and sending volunteers abroad. Many enthusiastic youth and students were joined together around Inter-R, all with a clear vision that international communication among young people has a tremendous potential in raising intercultural understanding, tolerance and creative peaceful life in the world-wide community. With time it became obvious that this team needed to form a new youth organization in order to put all its plans and ideas into life. Then in the summer of 2000, the new Youth and Student Voluntary Association World4U started to exist.
Serbia
VC Vojvodina - in January 2004 a group of young enthusiasts gathered by the idea of voluntarism has recognised a need for forming a volunteers' centre as a possible solution of numerous problems of our community and society in general. Not long after that we formed VCV. During its first year of work VCV was an informal group working on organisation of international workcamps and placing volunteers from Vojvodina on camps around the world. As the time passed number of active volunteers and activities grew larger and idea developed further.
YRS – VSS Young Researchers of Serbia- Voluntary Service of Serbia- “THINK BIG – do little: start an avalanche!” is the motto of the Young Researchers of Serbia – Voluntary Service of Serbia, a non – governmental and a non – profit youth organisation. Our vision is to be the driving force for all those whose aim is to make our planet a more peaceful, just and healthy place. For over 30 years we have been gathering young people round our research projects, voluntary camps, educational programmes and environmental campaigns, thus stimulating scientific creativity of young people and motivating them for voluntary work, environmental protection and nature conservation.Year of foundation: 1976

INEX Slovakia is a non-profit NGO (non-governmental organization) of young people with global field of activity. The main purpose of our organization is active participation in international voluntary actions, programs of youth exchange via international exchange network. Since 1993, the aim of our community association is to gather young people without giving emphasis on their nationality, political orientation or their beliefs. The activities of our organization are focused on personal development of young people through their youthful mobility and informal education.

COCAT (Coordinadora d’Organitzadors de Camps de Treball de Catalunya) is the Coordination Platform of Workamp Organizers of Catalonia, a platform of youth organizations: Cruc, Fundació Pere Tarrés, Fundació Escolta Josep Carol, and RAI, with the aim of coordinating workcamps in Catalonia, as a tool for personal development among the youth and local development for the communities where workcamps take place.
DeAmicitia is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation.
DeAmicitia is a team of environmental lawyers who work to defend the environment and give legal advice on environmental issues. This service is primarily aimed at NGOs and other private or public organizations that want to protect the natural environment. To complement our legal work, we run volunteer projects such as workcamps. These allow us to provide social and educational benefit as well as publicise the legal work we do in courts and other settings.

Switzerland
Workcamp Switzerland is a young and dynamic association with lots of ideas. Cultural exchange and getting to know young people from all over the world, is the aim of Workcamp Switzerland. To support charity projects is possible with the help of our volunteers. Workcamp Switzerland wants to be better known by increasing media presence, getting more members, partners, sponsors and of course volunteers. Main focus is public relations. Thanks to institutions and companies, Workcamp Switzerland was able to build up its presence. But the great demand on the part of volunteers and partners forces us to find more sponsors.
Taiwan
Vision YouthAction (VYA) was founded in 2002 by 30 young leaders who participated in international volunteer exchange project between Taiwan and U.S.A . From 2002 to 2007, VYA had been successful in setting up a regional youth volunteer center to promote very short term community service from one day to one week. Over 5,000 young people served as volunteers, donating more than 160,000 hours for social services in the past few years. In August, 2007, in collaboration with NICE Japan, the first international workcamp in Taiwan originated in a small fishing village in the mid-western coast of Taiwan. It has been developing rapidly and variously catering to the huge needs of projects & motivations of people!
Tajikistan
Youth of 21st Century is an NGO based in Dushanbe. Our main activity is mobilizing youth in remote areas in the South of Tajikistan and we organize youth camps every year.
Thailand
Greenway Thailand consists of several divisions, each with a different set up and different goal. The oldest division of our organization is the Pitaya Suwan foundation which was founded in 1998. The Pitaya Suwan foundation organizes short termp work camps which usually last two weeks and longer projects for our long term volunteers. Furthermore, the foundation is involved with several kinds of charity projects in Thailand.
Turkey
GENÇTUR, which was established in 1979 aims to improve relations between Turkish youth and the youth of other countries and to develop cultural understanding through its activities. We believe that youth travel and voluntary service aid peace and international, intercultural understanding and diminishes the prejudices. Since 1979 GENÇTUR is offering opportunities especially for young people and students, but also for any age group, to discover the country and its people. GENÇTUR opens the doors to a memorable holiday in Türkiye.
GSM-Youth Services Centre is a non governmental and non-profit youth organization that has been founded by a group of young people in 1985 in Ankara-Turkey. Since the first day, GSM has actively worked in youth field and until today it has created and successfully implemented many national and international youth projects. GSM is a pioneer organization in the field of youth-works in Turkey. Our main aim is to support common understanding, peace, friendship and intercultural learning among young people coming from different cultural backgrounds by organizing international youth activities. We believe that these intercultural activities give a space to young people to share their experiences and own cultural richness, which could help young people to break down barriers and prejudices.
Uganda
Uganda Pioneers´ Association (UPA) is a youth voluntary organisation working with community projects, work camps and volunteer exchange. UPA was founded in 1989 by young Ugandans with the aim of mobilising youth to contribute to community development through voluntary work. UPA has a national secretariat located in Kampala, Nansana and currently operates with 10 Branches in seven districts in Uganda.
The Aim of UPA: “To promote community based development, intercultural cooperation and youth participation through voluntary work”.
The Objectives of UPA : to encourage the dynamic age group (youth) to take leading roles towards development; to promote and improve natural and acquired skills useful to the community; to promote and exchange cultures to create friendship and mutual understanding; to contribute to the development of community based social services.
Uganda Voluntary Development Association (UVDA) is a non political, non sectarian, indigenously inspired and oriented voluntary organization geared to work for both local and international PEACE and for the welfare of its members and community through work camps and other social services as volunteers.
Our services are based on the Africa tradition of sharing and humanism, where interests of others always come first before those of self. Through this kind of serving philosophy, participants are helped to grow practically in awareness of the existence of others and to become accustomed to seeing those around them caring personally for others or seeing them being cared for in person.
Ukraine
ALTERNATIVE-V - Ukrainian Association for Youth Co-operation - is a non-political, non-profit non-governmental youth organisation, founded in 1992. Alternative-V was created to facilitate co-operation among youth organisations, to promote active citizenship among Ukrainian youth through their involvement into programmes in the fields of education, culture, ecology, historical heredity protection and helping disadvantaged people. Alternative-V wants to contribute to development of more peaceful society, to the decrease of social injustice. The Association obtained national status in 1999.
Union Forum is a non political non governmental youth organization founded in Lviv with the purpose to develop the international student's and youth exchange, to promote the programs supporting mutual understanding of youth of the various countries, giving an opportunity to learn better other countries culture and peoples. We have survived through change of a political system, economic and political cataclysms. And all because there exist eternal values - the peace, friendship and mutual understanding, which our organization is devoted to service. We help youth to get experience of independent life and work in other cultural conditions, to improve foreign language in the real colloquial environment, to get useful professional experience, - in general words, to receive all that is necessary in the modern world for successful career and high-grade life.
SVIT-Ukraine Interregional voluntary organization was established in autumn 2000 as working group on volunteering, and officially registered in November 2005 as local non profit organization, which is created for promotion, support and development of volunteering in Ukraine. Since 2004, SVIT is official member group of Service Civil International (SCI).
United Kingdom
Concordia first started in 1943 during the Second World War when young people were encouraged to support the war effort by gathering fruit and crops in the fields. After the war young people from Europe were invited to take part in a scheme in order to rebuild international friendships and to promote peace. Today, the scheme is known as the Seasonal Agricultural Work Scheme (SAWS) and offers foreign students the opportunity to do paid seasonal farm work in the UK. Concordia is now a registered charity based in Brighton. Part of the work in the SAWS and the other part is the International Volunteer Programme. These two schemes run independently although the International Volunteer Programme relies on financial support from SAWS.
IVS GB is a peace organisation working for the sustainable development of local and global communities throughout the world. We are the leading charity involving volunteers in international exchanges (international voluntary projects). IVS GB is the British branch of Service Civil International (SCI), a world wide network of like minded branches and partner organisations supporting the mutual exchange of volunteers to work on projects of direct benefit to local communities.
Volunteer Action for Peace (VAP (YAP))is part of an international movement called Youth Action for Peace which seeks to affirm the fundamental causes of lasting peace. We work through the twin tools of development education and international voluntary service. We work towards human justice and peace through support of cultural, socio-economic and political freedom. Our methods are seminars and international voluntary service. We work through a network of 50 national partner organisations, with locally managed development projects. These projects host the volunteers directly and control the projects. They provide the local link in a global movement to promote networks of human solidarity and the protection of the natural environment.
UNA Exchange is a large and dynamic organisation, supporting many hundreds of people to gain amazing international experiences each year. The majority of our work is in Wales, but UNA Exchange volunteers travel to more than 50 countries to participate in local development projects alongside local people. UNA Exchange believes in volunteering as a powerful force for change in the world. The skills and experiences gained from sharing time and energy with others play a vital role in personal development. Xchange Scotland is a newly founded voluntary organisation developed by returned Scottish volunteers and others committed to making positive change in society. Solidarités Jeunesses Vietnam (SJ Vietnam) is a non-profit international youth volunteering organization in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is a small organization, set up for, and by young volunteers. In december 2007, 3207 young vietnamese volunters were official members of SJ Vietnam.Our volunteers are active in the organization as work camp leaders, project managers or as volunteer on our local projects.
